We believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience the thrill of riding on a racetrack. That’s why Florida Trackdays is the only track organization in the United States to offer the Novice group participants a special gear rental reimbursement program.
Don’t let the cost of racing leathers, boots, or gloves keep you from participating.
How It Works
Step 1: Register for a Track Day
Sign up for one of our Florida Trackdays events and select the Novice riding group.
Step 2: Reserve Your Rental Gear
Choose the leather racing suit, boots, and gloves you need. Pay the applicable rental charges and refundable security deposits when making your reservation.
Step 3: Enjoy Your Track Day!
Arrive at the track, collect your reserved equipment, and experience the excitement of riding in a controlled racetrack environment with our Novice program.
Step 4: Receive Your Rental Reimbursement
After participating in your Novice track day and returning the rental equipment in accordance with our rental policy, you’ll receive reimbursement for qualifying rental charges after the event. Please allow at least 7-10 business days for gear refunds.

What equipment do I need to bring?
Florida Trackdays offers leather racing suits, motorcycle racing boots, and leather gloves for rent. Riders must bring their own qualifying full-face motorcycle helmet. Open-face and modular helmets are not accepted.
You bring the motorcycle and the excitement. We’ll help with the riding gear.
Many first-time track riders assume they need to purchase an expensive racing suit and a complete set of equipment before they can participate. With Florida Trackdays, that isn’t necessarily the case.
Our gear rental program helps remove that financial barrier, making it easier for new riders to discover the excitement of riding at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Florida Trackdays also offers track day motorcycle rentals. Combining motorcycle and riding gear rentals makes participation more accessible for riders who don’t have a suitable motorcycle or dedicated track equipment.
How to Reserve Your Track Gear
Reserving equipment in advance is the best way to improve your chances of securing the sizes you need.
- Select your gear. Choose a leather racing suit, racing boots, or gloves.
- Provide your size. Select the appropriate size during the reservation process.
- Complete your reservation. Pay the rental charges and any required security deposits.
- Pick up your equipment at the track. Our team will help you collect your reserved gear on event day.
- Return your gear after riding. Equipment must be returned according to our rental terms to qualify for applicable deposit refunds.
Rental inventory is limited, and equipment availability is not guaranteed without advance reservation.
